Checkatrade Left Us High and Dry!
We were utterly reliant on Checkatrade to find us a reliable tradesperson for our renovation project. We joined and advertised our requirements, but unfortunately, we were left high and dry.
- None responded to us.
- The few quotes we managed to get were unrealistic.
- Worst of all, their customer service was abysmal.
We are extremely disappointed with Checkatrade and would strongly advise using their website. There are much better alternatives out there. We feel sorry for having wasted our resources on this useless service.

Did Checkatrade Rip Us Off?
We thought we were doing the right choice by using Checkatrade to find a reputable plumber/electrician/contractor. After all, they seemed so legitimate with their vetted traders. Boy, were we wrong! Our experience was nothing short of a disaster.

We Paid, But Never Saw the Work: Checkatrade Fail.
My rundown with Checkatrade became a total disaster. I booked a trader through their website to carry out some essential home repairs. They appeared legitimate at first, but it turned out a terrible ordeal.
Although I transferred the full amount upfront, the work never started. Communication became impossible. It's been a truly agonizing period, and I'm still left with unfinished repairs.
Their customer service has been beyond frustrating throughout this whole process. They provided empty promises. It feels like I've been robbed.
